Solar Pons

Solar Pons is a character created by August Derleth in 1928 as a contemporaneous competitor to Sherlock Holmes. Solar Pons is the most successful pastiche of Sherlock Holmes in history. He has a companion, a Dr. Lyndon Parker, who plays the role of Watson.

I was asked by agents of the August Derleth Estate to contribute new mysteries starring Solar Pons. I have written several and enjoy them quite a bit, especially as their tone can vary more greatly than those of the Sherlock Holmes stories. I plan to write more in the future.
